Fair trade coffee also is cultivating lasting relationship between producer and consumer, because you buy directly from the grower rather than from a single owner estates or broker.
Golden Leaf Café uses Organic Free Trade Coffee not only because we want to use organic and natural products but we also want to be a part of building a more Democratic society, and we believe that transparency is an important part of a Democratic marketplace. The goal then is to build a trade system based on guaranteeing producers a living wage as a foundation for a healthy community. By using Free Trade Coffee it is the hope to break the debt cycle that keeps farmers in poverty.
